EVENT: Application of Digital Technologies to enhance decision making in agriculture

Agtech and Logistics Hub is involved in an upcoming event that will focus on how digital technologies can be used to enhance decision making.  

Hub manager Owen Williams is among the presenters at tge event, which will be held on 21 September at Pacific Seeds Foundation Farm, Lot 14/16 Logging Road Allora (Old Allora-Warwick Road). 

These digital technologies include proximal, remote sensing and modelling systems, which are critical when it comes to enhancing food production, sustainability and profitability of production systems. 

The field day at Pacific Seeds Foundation Farm will mainly focus on how the plethora of data available in agriculture can be transformed into information and actionable knowledge for informed decision making. 

A bus will depart Goods Sheed Toowoomba at 8.15am and return around 3pm. 

Owen will deliver an overview of the Agtech Logistics Hub during the 10am session. 

Th event also includes a number of speakers from The University of Queensland as well as presentations from experts at Data Farming, Airborn Insight and Pacific Seeds.
