It’s all systems go for our Trace2Plate project to map the red meat supply chain, which will receive a cut of funding from a federal government grant program. 

Trace2Place is among the 15 projects awarded a grant from the National Agriculture Traceability Grants round. 

AgriBusiness Connect is leading the project and will be supported by the Agtech and Logistics Hub and a host of other partners.  

The National Agriculture Traceability Grants, which will provide $500,000 for Trace2Place, aim to help businesses and exporters meet regulatory requirements more efficiently, giving Australian agriculture a trade advantage. 

“These grants will go towards RegTech projects that inform us how to improve and streamline regulatory compliance with technology,” Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry Murray Watt said.  

“Having a transparent, traceable supply chain means consumers in overseas markets can be reassured that Australian agriculture is clean, green, and sustainable.”
